Report abuse

Report abuse or illegal content.

Updated on 29.10.2026

If a site we host sends spam, spreads malware, phishes, or holds content you believe is illegal, tell us. This page is also our point of contact under the EU Digital Services Act (Regulation (EU) 2022/2065).

Where to write

Email abuse@guruburu.eu. We read Romanian, English, German, French, Spanish and Italian.

Authorities of the EU member states, the European Commission and the European Board for Digital Services reach us at the same address, our single point of contact under articles 11 and 12 of the Digital Services Act, in Romanian or English.

What to send

So that we can act on it, a notice should hold:

  • why you believe the content is illegal or breaks our acceptable use policy;
  • the exact address (URL) of the content, and anything else that helps find it;
  • your name and email address, unless the content may be child sexual abuse material;
  • a statement that you believe in good faith that the notice is accurate and complete.

For spam or phishing, the whole message with its headers helps; for malware, the address it was served from.

What happens next

We confirm we received your notice, look at it carefully and objectively, and decide without delay. People decide, not automated tools. Unless the harm is urgent, we ask the site's owner first.

We tell you what we decided and how to challenge it.

When we remove or disable content or suspend a site, we tell its owner what we did, why, on what grounds, and how to contest it. They can answer that email to ask us to look again.

If a notice points to a crime that threatens someone's life or safety, we inform the police at once.

If you disagree with us

You can complain to the Digital Services Coordinator of Romania, ANCOM, or go to court. For personal data, you can also turn to the data protection authority, ANSPDCP.
